It’s hump day! To help get you through the back half of the week and into the weekend, I thought I’d give you something to look forward to trying - some great DIYs!

To kick off the day, if you’re hosting any sort of gilded affair and are looking for easy ways to add gold accents into your event, check out these two great options.  The first one shows us how to DIY a gold envelope edge (courtesy of 100 layer cake), while the second helps us add gold accents to frames (perfect for table sign embellishment)!

The ceremony was absolutely beautiful.  It took place at Hollins House at Pasatiempo in Santa Cruz.  The bride and groom wrote their own vows and had a very contemporary ceremony, but also included some elements of a traditional Jewish wedding (signing of the Ketubah, breaking of the glass).  The site was simply decorated with flowers in mason jars hung along the aisle, as well as on the gazebo.  Strings of lights on the gazebo added a subtle glow as well, which was a nice complement. And, since the reception was also on site, it was a seamless transition from one part of the day to another.  One of my favorite parts? Jake the “ring dog”!
