Holy cow it’s the holidays. How did that happen so quickly? This year is FLYING by! I always know it’s holiday time when there’s nothing but sparkle being showcased all around us.  Here are some favorite holiday looks that I’ve seen thus far, starting with some fantastic dress options:

Welcome to this week’s (slightly later) bridal blog weekend wrap up! Staying true to the new format, I’ve done what I can to consolidate what I’ve found into meaningful categories - starting with apparel and accessories.  Enjoy (from left to right, top to bottom)! 1. I absolutely love this dress shot - the back-lighting from the windows is fantastic, the height of the room is great, and most importantly, the simplicity of the space allows the dress to really shine - lovely! 2. Look at these spectacular bridesmaids dresses! The silhouettes are incredible - amazing jewel-tone pieces by Arthur Mendonca! 3. I wanted to call out the incredible detail shot this bride’s photographer took of the beaded detail on her Johanna Johnson dress - these are the kind of things to ask for explicitly on your big day, as they tend to look stunning after the fact! 4. I know we all love rhinestones (really, we do), but here’s a very elegant earring choice that complements the outdoor setting and the bride’s flowers in her hair. 5. First, I love the choice for orange bridesmaids dresses for a summer wedding - they look fantastic when your bridal party has a little color.  Beyond that, what a sweet shot - the linked arms, all showing off their bouquets - definitely filing this one away for later!

Today, let’s talk bridesmaids.  In the past, it was all about making sure that you as the bride stood out, meaning that most bridesmaids apparel was absolutely hideous (have you seen 27 Dresses?)…the good news is, making your bridesmaids look bad is completely passe.  The better news - more and more options are popping up every day!  I’ll share some really cute color ideas (as you know, ombre and multi-texture are very in right now), as well as some great places to look to actually purchase.  Enjoy! To start, this silhouette of salmony-pink ombre choices is fantastic - the colors pop, the styles vary, all while not taking away from the spectacular bridal gown.  Big win.
